This New Year’s Eve at Red Door Digital on 7500 Oakland, from 9pm-1am join us we hustle, ballroom and party into 2016! DJ Jamii Tata will give a rare DJ performance and Operation Rebel will be broadcasting live, airing its final installment on Detroit FREQ Community Radio. Next year Operation Rebel will become an independent community radio station!

Donations of CDs to build Operation Rebel’s library, swap item or $10 will be accepted at the door. No one turned away!

Operational Rebel, a community journalism and community radio revolutiuonary initative of Know Allegiance Nation, is seeking to expand it’s collection of local and world/international music. At every upcoming event of Know Allegiance Nation, we are asking participants to bring physical copies of music (CD’s preferably) of local Detroit/Michigan artists and world/international artists. Operational Rebel plays lots of Afrobeat, Reggae, Hip Hop, Jazz, Soul, Neosoul & Folk music but other genres of music are most welcome.

The event will also be an opportunity to meet A’alia Muhammad, our first and newest hire! She serves as Programs Manager or Minister of Programs and will be supporting the Uhuru Sasa Farms Initative, Illuminate: Literacy Entrepreneurs and Operation Rebel for 12 months, this December through next December. We are excited to have her on board!
