The Green Your Neighborhood event was awesome! There were vendors with all types of information, including yours truly. We learned more on Red wigglers and how they function, how to recycle and what to do with our waste. We learned all about how to capture rain water and how to use it. There was even a presentation on how to collect mass amounts of rain water by creating a system for the neighborhood.

It was a good time and at the end we all got to enjoy a nice raffle for tickets to the science center, garden tools, books and a rain barrel. Congratulations to all those winners! We also learned about a whole bunch of other community events coming up this month, hope we see some of you there.
