- Illuminate: Literacy Entrepreneurs – Afterschool Literacy Program

- KAN Farms Spring Crew – Weekend Garden Volunteer Program

KAN Summer Internship Opportunities
Please be reminded that our Summer Internship program with GDYT is for youth 16-24 years of age, unless you are a previous participant in KAN programming. If you are 14 & 15 years old, you can participate in our Spring programming (mentioned above) in April-June to be eligible for a paid summer intern slot.
KAN Internship Steps
Step 1: Youth Registration: bit.ly/kanyouth (same link as Youth Summit Registration. Please only register once.)
Step 2: Attend Youth Summit (only one)
- April 13th
- May 25th
Step 3: Schedule Interview for KAN Internship
Step 4: Interview for KAN Internship
Step 5: Register for GDYT (or KAN*) (this step can happen earlier)
Step 6: Complete enrollment documents
Step 7: Accept internship placement
Step 8: Attend orientation
*Some young people have been invited to directly work with KAN for an internship. Those that have not, please register with GDYT.
